Located five miles west of the City of Williams, Westside Water District was formed in 1954 under Division 13 of the California Water Code. The District serves 15,457 agricultural acres and holds a US Bureau of Reclamation Water Service Contract for 65,000 AF, which is supplied as part of the Central Valley Project. Water is conveyed to the District through the Tehama Colusa Canal from a diversion in Red Bluff, both of which are operated and maintained by the Tehama-Colusa Canal Authority. The District operates and maintains 22 diversions from the TC Canal through both pumps and siphons which supply over 60 miles of service pipelines.
